Our Mission
At the Nebraska State Suicide Prevention Coalition (NSSPC), our mission is to save lives, support those affected by suicide, reduce stigma, and raise awareness across Nebraska.

This work is possible thanks to people like you. NSSPC relies on donations, private foundations, and grants to expand and continue this important work. Every contribution—no matter the size—is reinvested into Nebraska communities.
Mini-Grant Program
Through our Mini-Grant Program, NSSPC awards $500–$4,000 annually to schools, local coalitions, nonprofits, and community groups. These grants help fund suicide prevention training, public awareness campaigns, postvention resources, and local events.

Your support helps bring suicide prevention and postvention efforts to every corner of our state. As a 501(c)(3), all donations to NSSPC are tax-deductible and directly fuel local suicide prevention efforts.
Total mini-grants
Since 2019, over $180,000 in suicide prevention mini-grants were awareded to recipients located in all areas of the state (from the Panhandle to Eastern Nebraska).
2020 Mini-Grants
$30,289 mini-grants given to 15 recipients in all areas of the state (Panhandle to Eastern Nebraska)
2019 Mini-Grants
$18,596 dollars in mini-grants awarded to 8 recipients.
